Carry It With You is a community challenge raising awareness and funds for Winter Shelter, encouraging participants to experience — in a small but powerful way — the reality of carrying everything you own. Black Canvas developed a brand identity that feels friendly, approachable and grounded, using a rounded sans serif typeface in lowercase to create a down-to-earth tone. The colour palette builds on Winter Shelter’s existing brand colours to maintain trust and credibility, while brighter accent tones introduce warmth, hope and positive energy.

The logo symbol features a figure in motion carrying a backpack shaped like a house — a simple yet meaningful representation of homelessness and the idea of carrying your “home” with you. The clean, minimal design ensures clarity and versatility across print, web, social media and merchandise, remaining strong in full colour, reversed and single-colour applications. Black Canvas also created supporting website graphics, social media assets, flyers and a presentation suite to help promote and amplify the challenge.
