We are more than just a little bit excited about the new website – Boora Mugga Beef. What is this ‘Boora Mugga’ you ask? Well, this small family-owned business can supply beef directly from their gorgeous farm to you! You can even choose your own happy moo-cow { if you can bare looking into their beautiful big eyes that is }. Being brought up on a very small hobby farm where we ate our own cows, we are very excited about the prospect of having farm-fresh meat again

The criteria for us was…

A. Do you say it how you spell it? / Is it easy to say?
(And yes, this did involve brain-storming sessions whilst clapping out syllables)

B. It should not include our own names (anonymity is a wonderful thing for us shy, retiring types)

C. We don’t care if it doesn’t say what we do (our brand can do that)

D. Is it memorable and unique? (without being crazy-weird)

In our very humble opinion, we think that it is not so much your name, but the brand behind the name that makes a business sing. The brand is the way you present yourself, it is the promise you give your customer, it is in the culture and atmosphere created around the product you sell. The name-game can halt the process of starting a business, before it has even begun. What a tragedy!

But really, we like our name because we do love our ‘canvas’. We all have various ways of expressing ourselves and for us, it is through design. Although not visual artists, our canvas is of a different kind… we love to use our time and talents to serve others through design, helping give businesses & organisations a confidence boost by making them look as good as they feel. (Who doesn’t love a make-over!) A blank canvas or empty piece of paper – can sometimes be a daunting thing. Where do I start? How do I fill this space? In one way or other – we hope to help do that for you. We have lots of experience and creative talent to ‘fill the page’ – hence the reason why our canvas is ‘black’. We’re not blank.

We launched the ‘Atelier’ website prior to Christmas… it was viewed by ‘someone-in-the-know’ and Carol and Amy were then contacted to feature their gallery on the show, The Great South East – what fantastic exposure for them! Atelier stock a range of unique pieces by Australian Artists… be sure to drop into 3 Little Street to find the perfect gift for the person who has everything. The show aired, February 5th at 5:30pm on Channel 7!

We are particularly proud of the brand new brand for Focus HR. Naomi understood the importance of establishing her brand identity in the early phase of her business and entrusted us with the design of her logo, branding elements and new website. The brand is so unique & eye-catching…

The month of January has been fun & fast-paced and disappeared all too quickly. After three weeks of fun-in-the-sun we are back into it, and enjoying the challenges our clients throw at us.

We are please to report Claire did come back from her 5 week European trip {we were only slightly worried that she would find a strapping scottsman and not return}. She looks fabulous, relaxed & ready to roll. It is lovely to have her smiling face back in the office again. Thanks to Renae for her help over this time, it was very much appreciated!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Yup that’s right, it’s Christmas time! Being a family owned business, we love Christmas time – family, fun and holidays! It’s been a bit of a tough year for many, so we wish you all a safe and happy Christmas, and enjoy a much needed break over the Christmas holidays.

And a huge thank you for your support this year – we love championing local businesses, and we’re so blessed to be able to serve you in what we do. We hope that Twenty Twelve is even better than the Eleven version.

We are taking a break over the Christmas Season, so the office will be closed from Wednesday 21 December 2011 and will re-open on Wednesday 11 January 2012.
